Princeton Equity Group Completes Sale of IFPG to CNL Strategic Capital

Princeton Equity Group (“Princeton”), a leading private equity firm focused on partnering with growth franchisors and multi-location businesses, has completed the sale of International Franchise Professionals Group (“IFPG” or “the Company”) to CNL Strategic Capital, an investment vehicle sub-managed by Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (“LLCP”). The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2012 by CEO Don Daszkowski, IFPG is the largest tech-enabled membership network and marketplace connecting franchisors, franchise consultants, and vendors. “We are very proud of what IFPG has accomplished since our partnership began in 2022,” said Jim Waskovich, Princeton's Co-founder and Managing Partner.

For the last six years in a row, IFPG has earned the distinction as the No. 1 franchise broker network on Entrepreneur magazine's list of top franchise suppliers. Don Daszkowski commented, "I’m very proud of the quality of the work accomplished with my team and would like to thank Princeton for their support in this phase of growth of the company."

During IFPG’s partnership with Princeton, the Company has further solidified its position in the franchise industry. COO Matt Otskey added, “The improvements we’ve made to the team and business in partnership with Princeton over the past three years have been transformative, setting the stage for our next chapter.”

“Today’s milestone is a testament to the quality of the business and the strength of the entire IFPG team,” added Jack Nagle, a member of IFPG’s Board of Directors and Principal at Princeton. “We are honored to have partnered with Don, Matt, Red, and the rest of IFPG to aid the brand's rapid expansion over the past three years."

BrightTower, a New York City-headquartered investment banking and M&A advisory services firm, served as lead financial advisor to IFPG on this transaction. Boxwood Partners served as co-advisor to IFPG on this transaction. Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP served as legal counsel to Princeton and IFPG in connection with the transaction.
